1. Encourage all golfers to pay through tournevents.com. We store all emails and phone numbers of your golfers, so if they pay through our system it will keep that data for you for when you use our site next year. Also, if they all sign up through our system, it will automatically put them in foursomes that can be downloaded and given to the course when it is due.

2. Utilize the player management console. As players sign up, they are added to the player management console. If a foursome signs up, the first member has the choice to pay for his spot and enter the emails of his 3 partners. Our site will then send them all emails to sign up and pay. As they pay, they will turn green on the player management console, but until then they will be red. If they need to be reminded to pay, all you need to do is click the “send payment reminder” button and our site will send them a reminder email. You can also drag and drop players into different groups if you need to. Once you are set with the player management console and you’ve added any golfers manually that paid off line, you simply download the foursome list and send it to the course. No more manually inputting names into a spreadsheet.

3. Tell your golfers to share your tournament on social media. We have buttons on the web page you will create that golfers can click on to share your tournament on Facebook, Twitter or any platform they have an account on. If you encourage your golfers to do this, you can get in front of more players and fill your tournament.

4. Use the check in report at your tournament. The check in report will show which golfers have paid and which have not paid in our system and if they haven’t paid, they can do so at the tournament. This report can be sorted alphabetically in our system and printed as a PDF or as an Excel file.

5. Create tournament products to pre-sell. We encourage tournaments to sell raffle tickets, mulligans and any other product you will sell at the course ahead of time so the lines aren’t as long. You can create any product you want and each one will generate its own report so you will know who purchased them at the tournament.

6. Upload sponsor logos to your tournament page. By clicking “Logos” when you log into the tournament management section, you can upload logos of your sponsors and enter a title under each.
