The Theta Alpha Foundation in conjunction Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. is having its 7^th Annual Roy L. Rogers Invitational to be held on September 6, 2008, at Country View Golf Club.

The Theta Alpha Foundation, a Texas non-profit corporation chartered on May 15, 1987 is a 501(c)(3)-community services organization. The primary mission of the Theta Alpha Foundation is to provide educational opportunities to deserving minority and disadvantaged youth in order to foster an interest in science, mathematics, engineering and teaching as a profession. The Theta Alpha Foundation receives financial support from the contributions of our supporters and our various fund-raisers.  Contributions to Theta Alpha Foundation are fully tax-deductible.

Roy L. Rogers was known throughout the DFW metroplex as “a true golfer.”  Throughout his life there were many very important things a few of those were; his family, his fraternity, Omega Psi Phi, and his golf.  He worked tirelessly every year on all making all things a success through commitment and dedication. His knowledge of the game, which he had been playing for over 30 years, and his belief that his grandchildren’s future would rest in the hands of our scholarship recipients is a strong reason this tournament is in place.

Last year’s tournament was participated by over 100 golfers who had a chance to fellowship and make business connections as well as play an exciting round of golf.   We are anticipating another highly successful and well-attended outing and we want you to be a part of that.
