 "3rd Annual Spinal Muscular Atrophy Golf Classic"

at the Prestigious Isleta Eagle Golf Course 

This event provides our community a great opportunity to come together play for a Treatment/Cure and learn about Spinal Muscular Atrophy to help shed light on this silent killer.

Fight SMA is an Internatinal 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization committed "To strategically accelerate a Treatment and a cure for Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a deadly crippler and the number-one inherited genetic cause of infant death". 

• SMA is a genetic disease that causes a dramatic loss of strength and, in the worst cases, the loss of ability to swallow and breathe.
• The mind remains unaffected, while the muscles waste away, causing children with SMA to live inside dying bodies.
• A baby is born every day with SMA, a disease that  is incurable, untreatable, fatal and under funded. 
• One in every forty people unknowingly carries the gene for SMA. 
• Seven million potential parents carry the gene.

Please come out and play to help us fight this horrific disease on this tweenty-seven holes of enchanting hills and challenge designed around three lakes and the sweeping Rio Grand River.
